Customs for Europe and the United Kingdom: Reinforced controls

European and UK customs have strengthened their systems to improve entry control.

Please note that:

To pass customs checks, your package must include a detailed description of its contents. This includes the type of garment or accessory, and the color or material. You can find a description guide here.

The declared value of your parcel must be consistent with its content. We recommend a declared value similar to the selling price.

To compensate for these changes and help you better, we will be integrating the obligation to enter a minimum number of words in the description field. We are working to provide you with a tool to help you fill in the declared value more easily.

Note that, if your label (waybill) does not have a detailed description aligned with the package and an accurate declared of the content, your package will be blocked at customs. We will not reimburse any package (in case destruction/seizure) or shipping label that does not satisfy the two control elements: the description of the contents of the parcel and the declared value.
We therefore invite you to take all necessary precautions.

This applies to shipments from all countries to (or transiting through) the European Union, including shipments to Norway and Switzerland.

Removal of minimum VAT (July 2021)
The current minimum VAT collection charge of 22 euros will be removed for imports into the EU involving formal customs clearance of these shipments. This applies to shipments from all countries to the European Union.
