The Moderation team is constantly reviewing products in depth to ensure compliance. All products on the marketplace must respect Afrikrea's General Terms of Services, along with local and international e-commerce laws.
A product valid for the Afrikrea marketplace follows ALL these criteria:
It is "Made of Africa", meaning it is either African made or uses inspiration from African cultures
it uses clear pictures, owned by the seller. Pictures from the Internet / taken to other designers are strictly forbidden.
The product's title is faithful to the pictures
The description is clear, matches the pictures and ensures the customer knows exactly what he/she will receive.
It has a clear pricing. Products under or over priced will be subjected to review
Examples of valid products below
On the contrary, one or several of these flaws will make a product invalid:
Is not "Made of Africa" or does not belong on the marketplace. Example: a car, a housing property, a generic electronic device.
Has misleading or wrongful imagery. Example: graphic content, a picture showing a dress with a title "bag", etc.
Has a title or description using banned or explicit wording, violates our Terms of Services (details below). Example: guns, alcohol, "healing" products, body "enhancement" products.
Advertises for a trademarked brand or uses pictures from other designers. Example: an iPhone 12, a picture from Grass Fields.
What happens in case of infringement?
If one of your product is found guilty of infringement it will instantly be blocked by our team. You will receive a notification with the motive for the blocking and possible actions coming next.
If more than 1 product is found the entire shop will be blocked until compliance has been guaranteed and reviewed.

Before creating your shop, it is mandatory to validate the Terms, and by operating on the Afrikrea marketplace or any ANKA services you agree to be compliant with them.
To summarize what is prohibited on the marketplace:
products with direct medical claims: treatments, diabetes relief, fever, immunity, antioxydant, digestive helps, dental care, etc.
beauty products with strong claims: anti acne, anti aging, hair growth serums, scar removals, etc.
products who treat sexual wellness and women treatments: menstrual cycle regulations, fertility, erectile boosts, smell / tighten, aphrodisiacs, etc.
products who claim to enhance or flatten body parts: breasts, buttocks, belly, hips, etc.
whitening and lightening products altogether
products with spiritual claims: bringing luck, love, money, protection, etc.
products who stem from animals, even frozen. Dried meats are allowed if packaging is safely concealed.
food supplements and other complements all together.
Products with bad imagery using graphic content or else, and products with imagery advertising one of the above claims will also be blocked.
Note that advertising your phone number is prohibited as well. You can use the Afrikrea messaging system for all discussions with your customers. In case of conflict, only messages exchanged on the platform can be used to argument.
